- Reasons for carrying must be filled out (Sporting? Security Guard?
Retired Police officer: ETC). Include all supporting documents, i.e. : employment
letter, business certificate, good guy letter & voucher or C-form for police officers (retired or active).
- The four (4) character references must not be related to you or related to each other, do not use gun dealers or safety course instructor as references.
- The arrest affidavit, two (2) applications and the character reference sheets must be signed in front of a notary.
- If you were arrested: Letter by applicant surrounding circumstances of each arrest and a certificate of disposition (s) if you have more than two (2) arrests please use the arrest addendum sheets for the additional arrests.
- Fingerprinting hours are on a first come, first serve basis: Monday & Friday 10:30am to 12:00 noon, the first and third Saturday of each month 8:00am to 12:00 noon, Wednesdays 3:30 to 7pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
- YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE FIREARMS TRAINING AND RECEIPT OF A GUN OR A NOTARIZED LETTER FOR SHARED
OWNERSHIP WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE
- Receipt for ten dollar ($10) application fee must accompany application when submitted to Sheriff's Office
- APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN SIXTY (60) DAYS OF FINGERPRINTING OR APPLICATION WILL BE NULL AND VOID
