The Orange County Federation will have a bus for free for people from Orange County.  Sign up now.  Preference will be for people who are members of clubs that belong to the Federation but we expect to have some room for other Pro-gun people who want to go.

This year again we have the March on Albany buttons. They are available for $1 each. Buy some for those attending and buy one for your legislator(s). These are currently available for sale through the NYSCC Office and will be at the March as well.

Parking can be a problem at times in the State Capital area. It is recommended that individual car pool. Some federations even rent a bus to bring their people to the March. Others will meet at the Best Western on Western Avenue in Albany and car pool to the Capitol.

DO NOT! DO NOT! Assume that your legislator will be in his or her office on that day. Speeches should be completed by 9:45 AM, PLEASE contact your legislator and make an appointment to meet. If you do not know their Albany numbers you can locate it on the sheets accompanying this notice. If you do not know who your representative is, please contact the NYSCC Office. Each legislator will be receiving a postcard asking them to save the date for the Annual Sportsmen's March on Albany.

We will be preparing and when possible sending along information packets on each of the topics for the March to assist you. Therefore it is important that you notify us if you plan to attend.

An information table the day of the March will be maintained in the Hamilton Hearing Room B to assist you. Everyone is encouraged to gather on March 21st in that room prior to the start of the speakers. We will have buttons, listing of legislators and their room numbers. In addition we will be preparing a press packet and a special packet for each legislator that explains who we are, what we do and just lists a few points on the issues that you will be addressing with them.

Please take the time to be a part of the action. We need you, we need to show the legislators and media that sportsmen and women make a difference and have a message to tell.

Let's truly wake up the "sleeping giant" and show our numbers in Albany this year.
