CLUBS     Many local clubs do not have a web address.  Most of the local clubs do belong to the Orange County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs. Inc.  This is a local group that represents all local sportsmen and sportswomen in Albany.  They stock fields and stream with fish and game.  Visit their web site and e-mail them to find a club close to you.  Many local clubs own or rent land for hunting and lakes for fishing both in Orange County and in other areas of the state.  Prices for the clubs range from about $50 a year plus one time initiation fees on up.  Most clubs are very active and have many activities that you can enjoy.  They have many types of competitions for all skill levels and all age groups that include airguns, rifles, bow and arrow, handgun, shotgun, bench rest, and others.  Many clubs offer special youth programs and instruction programs.  They all understand that everyone starts from the same place and most members will go out of their way to help new members and new shooters.
